My new obsession is taking baths…I try to take baths and read a magazine or read for grad school but it usually ends up that I get really sleepy and end up going to bed or taking a nap. I forgot how relaxing tubs are! Like my Nana Connie used to say to my cousins and I after she gave us a bath “You will feel like a million bucks!”…why is it that when we are little we are so resistant to a bath??? Now I would kill for someone telling me I HAVE to get in the tub.

I attempted Sweet Potato Muffins the other day…they turned out delicious…but for some reason after a few days I found green specks in them and got freaked out and had to throw them away. Me + Mold= Freak out.

Allie and I are coming up on the finishing weeks of our half marathon training. Let’s just say I am ready for this training to be over. I have been very unmotivated with the cold weather to run outside and therefore many of my runs have been on the treadmill while watching The Biggest Loser on my iPad. I just have one more long run this weekend…11 miles, then it is taper time. wahooo
I am obsessed with overnight oats (maybe I should try eating them in the tub)…I have been experimenting with different combos. These are “cake batter oats”..1/3 cup oats, 3 oz plain fat free greek yogurt, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 scoop cake batter protein powder…and some fruit on top.
Saw this on Pinterest and realized that the tank top time of year is coming soon…the Victoria Secret bathing suit catalog is another lovely reminder that warmer weather is on its way…
