Welcome to Follow Your Bliss. I am Liz and I am so happy that you stopped by.
I started this blog back in 2012 as a way to share my stories about marathon training and other ramblings.
This blog has taken many different forms throughout the last couple of years. I dabbled in writing about healthy eating and working out. I also wrote race recaps from various half marathons and a marathon. I share recipes occasionally but mostly I have enjoyed turning this space in to writing about topics that I hope can inspire others to live their best life, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
In my day job I am a middle school counselor in Frederick, Maryland. I am also a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor and I am currently a (very) part time therapist at a substance abuse counseling center.
When I am not working you can find me in the kitchen baking or cooking, snuggling with my fiancé, Andrew, and our golden retriever, Tucker (pictured below), with my nose in a book, deciding between drinking wine or going for a run, and group messaging with my mom and sister.
Thank you so much for stopping by, it means a lot to me.
