Liz’s List #2

Hello! Welcome to the 2nd week of “Liz’s List”…just a list of my a few of my favorite things. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Zoya Natural Nail Polish

My beautiful friend (and beauty expert!) Ashley introduced me to “Zoya” nail polish and I will never buy a different brand again! I love the smoothness of the polish and it also lasts a long time, especially if you use the clear top coat.

“Bevin” is my new favorite color. You can find the polish at Ulta!

In a pitcher I place one sliced cucumber, one sliced lemon, half of a lime, and a few mint leaves. Place it in the fridge and sip on it for a great detox or a refreshing spring/summer drink! I want to try frozen grapes next! I bet it would taste good with some vodka too.

The Wine Kitchen

The Wine Kitchen is located along Carroll Creek in Downtown Frederick. It is definitely on my top 5 list of restaurants to eat at in Frederick. On Wednesday night my mom and her friend Maureen came for a visit so we enjoyed a nice dinner at The Wine Kitchen. You can order wine flights, whiskey/bourbon flights or other delicious drinks! I ordered the Diver Scallops (pictured above) that were on top of a red beat risotto! My mouth was loving this dish. The food is so unique and the portions are perfect for a girls night!

VSCO Cam App

The VSCO Cam App helps to enhance pictures and has a ton of filters and settings that Instagram does not have. I have been using this app especially when taking pictures of food. I have been loving playing around with the different settings. The picture above is an example of a “before and after” shot using the VSCO App. I feel a little bit more “artsy” and creative using this app!

I hope you have a gorgeous weekend! I took this picture on  my walk with Tucker yesterday evening, it is so calming and grounding to look up at that gorgeous blue sky. Whenever I see such a beautiful blue sky I always think of my beautiful Aunt Heidi looking down from above and watching over us all.
